Stories, PE and much more!

This week the children have loved having a more formal key worker group and have enjoyed learning lots of new things. We read the story “Oh dear!” and the children were great at joining in with the repeated phrases and were excited to guess what animal would be next in the story. We have also been working hard on our listening skills by playing lots of fun games. This week we had to guess what the noise was inside the bag.

We have also loved going to the primary school for our PE sessions with Mrs Thompson. The children have adapted really well to the change in environment and had lots of fun this week playing a pirate treasure game.

Our little rays of sunshine this week are Abigail Bowes for settling so well into her new key worker group. It is lovely to see Abigail so excited to come to nursery and she is a very enthusiastic learner. Keep up the good work Abigail! Maisie Clarey for joining in with all of our group activities and sharing her ideas. She is also such a caring friend to others in the group. Freddie Cavagin for settling wonderfully into nursery life. He always tries hard during group time and is always willing to have a go! Great job Freddie, keep it up! Halle Buddin for settling lovely into nursery and always coming into group in a positive and polite manor. Halle has demonstrated excellent writing skills by trying very hard to write her name by herself. A great start to nursery Halle! And finally Paddy Lambert-Cousins for joining in with nursery activities. He has especially enjoyed exploring our nursery garden. It is lovely to see you having lots of fun with your friends, keep it up Paddy!
