Hamsterley Forest Trip

Published on Wednesday 9 May 2018 by Mr Storey.

Last week the children got to experience their first trip since arriving at Crook Primary School. We ventured out to Hamsterley Forest in search on mini beasts and to investigate their habitats. The children broke off into small groups and had to search for any insects they could find, we were turning over logs, scrapping through mud and searching trees.

The children behaved excellently as they traveled around the surrounding areas and gave a great impression of Crook Primary School. The children played pooh sticks off a bridge, completed the Highway Rat trail and also got time to explore the different climbing frames on offer.
