We Are All Wonders

Year 5 finished off a half term's worth of work in English today when they sat down to watch Wonder (a film based on our class novel). The children earned whole class dojos as they sat so politely to view the touching, yet funny film. We shared laughs, tears (including those of Miss Oxley and Miss Bryson!!!), and smiles as we followed August Pullman's journey of starting a new school.

What a lovely way to finish our half term of 'Making a Difference', especially when the children have completed their own story inspired by Wonder. We were particularly struck by the words of August's teacher, Mr Browne: "Kind words do not cost much. Yet they accomplish much."

Remember - we are all wonders!
