We have had a wonderfully fantastic day today in Reception celebrating World Book day.

Firstly, we would just like to say a great big thank you for the incredible effort that had been put in to the children's costumes. In particular, well done to Imogen, Harry and Paddy who won a prize for their amazing outfits.

This afternoon we have enjoyed celebrating World Book day with a lovely story time in the hall. We had the bean bags out, as well as our favourite Julia Donaldson books. It was time to take some well earned time out and settle down with a good book.

Following our story time we were feeling very hungry so we knew it was time for our picnic. The food was devoured as we sat and listened to more Julia Donaldson stories. In fact, Cameron was so enthusiastic with his story telling that we were fortunate enough for him to read a story to the rest of Reception.
