Whatever Next!

The children have enjoyed re-telling our story; Whatever Next using props from the story. They put on their space boots and a space helmet and blasted off to the moon for a picnic. The children are showing a great understanding of stories and understood what happened at the start, middle and end.

We enjoyed visiting the moon so we decided to go back! Before we could blast off we needed to pack a suitcase of items we would take to space with us. The children thought very carefully about this and the children had some fantastic suggestions “some chocolate and milk cause I'd be hungry, my very very soft cushion and a football so I could play with my friends”

Our little rays of sunshine this week are JJ Denham for using the props to re tell the story Whatever Next. I was so impressed with how much JJ recalled from the story. Fantastic work JJ! Brooklyn Wade for answering the register so confidently and clearly. Great stuff Brooklyn! And finally Joseph Barron for doing some great counting with the aliens. He was also a superstar recognising when I split the group of aliens between two spaceships that the total still remained the same. Great work Joseph, well done!
