We hope you enjoyed our Easter Fayre and would like to thank everybody that was able to come. Thanks to your generous donations we raised £180 which we will use to buy some lovely new resources for nursery.
This week we had a special letter delivered to the nursery from the Easter bunny and we had lots of fun hunting for the eggs. It was also lovely to see so many of you getting into the Easter spirit at home making your fantastic eggs for our egg competition. The morning winners were; in first place Evelyn Goundry, in second place Halle Buddin and in third place Abigail Bowes. The afternoon winners were; in first place Gabriella Slack, in second place JJ Denham and in third place Dakota Bilgin-Darvishi It was so hard to choose the winners, you all did a wonderful job!
Our little rays of sunshine this week are Robyn Wilson for doing some amazing building with the magnetic shapes. She made a ball, a flower and the most amazing ladder! Great building Robyn. Neve Dunn for rolling the dice, counting the spots and then counting that number of decorations onto her Easter egg. Great maths work Neve. Dakota Bilgin-Darvishi for being so enthusiastic to write his name. Each day he has told me he is going to write his name. He can very nearly write it completely independently. Well done for being so resilient and for always trying even when it is tricky! And finally Mya Carr for doing a fantastic job counting the decorations on her Easter egg and finding the matching numeral. Great counting and matching!
We hope you all have a relaxed Easter break and we will see you when we return to nursery on Tuesday 23rd April. Our new starters will begin on Wednesday 24th April and will be accompanied by an adult.
