KS1 & KS2 Golden Time

At Crook Primary School pupils have the opportunity to participate in a chosen club for Friday afternoon Golden Time as part of the whole school behaviour management system. The Dojo system is based on positive praise and reward for making the right choice. To celebrate a successful week in school pupil participate in an hour of Golden Time on a Friday afternoon.

After collaboration with the pupils the Golden Time clubs on offer this term are: Outdoor Adventure, Football, Chess, Little Chefs, Zumbacise, Drumming, Crafty Cats, Hot Threads, Guitar and Sports Leaders and Silly Scientists.

To celebrate the work and achievement of each of the clubs we will be showcasing our talents throughout Crook Christmas Week.

Pupils who do not earn enough dojos over the week will however miss out on the opportunity to participate in a club. They will spend the last hour of the day considering their choices over the week and how they can improve their behaviour next week to ensure a more successful week in school.  Parents will be informed if their pupil misses 3 or more Golden Time weeks over the term.
