Ready, Set, GO!!!

Published on Tuesday 27 September 2016 by Miss Hammerton.

Physical Education and sport is well underway at Crook Primary School for the new academic year! In class, you will find fitness being delivered by Mrs Thompson and invasive games by all of the class teachers.

You can take your pick from a variety of afterschool clubs too which will not only reinforce but enhance the work covered in the two timetabled curriculum hours.

Monday - Multiskills (Reception, Y1 and Y2)

Tuesday - Football (KS2)

- Outdoor Adventurous Activities (KS2)

Wednesday - Tag Rugby (KS2)

Thursday - Gymnastics (Reception, Y1 and Y2)

There will be a certificate awarded to those children who have attended 80% of the clubs as this shows a really high level of dedication and perseverance!

Also, Miss Hammerton and Mrs Thompson will be doing checks to make sure all children are wearing their correct school PE kit. This is a Crook Primary School PE t-shirt and dark coloured shorts of tracksuit bottoms! These PE t-shirts can be ordered from the school office if you do not have one!

Many thanks,

Miss Hammerton (PE Coordinator) and Mrs Thompson (Assistant PE Coordinator)
