Superheroes, super capes and super me!

Another busy week down in Reception as the fun never ends! We have been having lots of fun exploring our new topic, 'The Incredibles'. To do this we have made a self portrait of ourselves and some of us seem to have very interesting coloured hair including blue, green and grey!

We have also been busy flexing our writing muscles and exploring the importance of being kind. 'Kindness is stronger than Kryptonite!'

Everyone has written a kind comment and placed it in a jar. Our comments will be read aloud every day for our friends to hear.

Amongst all of our writing we needed time to explore our creative side. When learning about superheroes there is a very important thing every superhero needs... A cape! We have designed our very own capes on paper and have also managed to make some using spare material.

Beth said, "I'm Rainbow Starlight! My capes has stars that are rainbow colours."

Finally, we are becoming fantastic at taking turns and playing games nicely with each other. We can even count of our own points which makes for very interesting play! We love playing in the different areas with our friends.
