As research shows exercise has a great effect on not only fitness levels but also concentration levels. Therefore, we at Crook Primary School have put this to the test. Key Stage 2 are completing the mile challenge but key stage 1 are doing something a little different.
We are doing HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training)! This takes place for around 10 - 15 minutes on two different occasions a week. The children and staff have thoroughly enjoyed the challenge which was introduced by The Body Coach - Joe Wicks.
This is our EYFS class completing their session, it is also a great chance to discuss what they are feeling making cross-curricular links.
