- About Us
This week saw the start of our Cricket sessions, which ties in perfectly with the Ashes that are drawing to a close. As a school we aim to provide our children with a wide range of sporting activities and yesterday we had a perfect example.
The year 2 children were delivered a PE session by a specialist in Cricket. The children thoroughly enjoyed their session where they carried out a number of team games and started to understand what fundamental skills are needed to be successful when playing cricket.
After talking to the children we received rave reviews about the session, here is what some of the children had to say:
Steed explained, "You have to keep looking at the ball when you catch it. I think I am good at cricket because I can catch the ball.
Leah also added, "When someone hits the ball you have to be fast to get it as fast as you can. We won the game because we were fast."
