Royal Shakespeare Company Comes to Crook

Published on Monday 5 February 2018 by Mrs Gentles.

We're all very excited that The Royal Shakespeare Company are visiting us again to give us a community performance of 'Julius Caesar,' by William Shakespeare. Following their huge success when they brought us, 'The Famous Victories of Henry V,' they've chosen the bloodthirsty tale of Caesar who was assassinated by his friends, starting a war between the generals of Rome. It promises to be even better than their last performance and is 90 minutes of pure entertainment.

This performance is packed with action, lots of sword fighting and daggers drawn. It's especially adapted for families and is suitable for children over the age of 7 years. If your children are not old enough to attend, come by yourselves and bring your friends. There'll be plenty of audience participation as you cheer for Caesar and Brutus. Which side will you be on?

Tickets are available from Mrs. Gentles or from the office at Crook Primary School, priced at £5 each. Children must be accompanied by an adult. There are a small number of tickets left so don't delay. Join us at 6pm on Wednesday 28th February in our main hall and meet the actors before the play starts. We guarantee you will be more entertained by than anything on TV that night!
