Mdawi Primary Update

Published on Wednesday 21 February 2018 by Crook Primary.

At half term, Mrs Lupton travelled to Tanzania to work with our partner school Mdawi Primary. At long last the number of teachers has increased. In addition some of the recently retired teachers are volunteering one day per week to ensure classes so not become too big.

Thanks to our contribution from our non uniform day last year supported by the parents and community of Mdawi, an IT technician is now employed for this year so once again children can start to learn computing. This technician is called Isiah and was once a pupil of Mdawi coming from the local orphanage.
