Pirates ahoy!

Last week we had a fantastic visitor in the form of local author and storyteller, Adam Bushnell. Adam worked with both classes and was able to inspire amazing ideas and generate great work from the children based on pirates.

Adam brought pirate weapons, clothes, flags and a load of other inspiring objects that children were fascinated by and were able to hold. We even had one one of our children turn in to a monster!

The children then used this to create amazing sentences using descriptive language, adverbs and prepositions.

On Friday, the children took all of their amazing work and produced excellent stories about their Captain on an adventure!
