What a great way to end the Winter league!

Crook Primary's final game of the Winter league saw them face a Willington team. Crook started the match on the front foot and had a lot of possession but didn't really create any clear cut chances. Around 5 minutes into the match Zack broke down the left wing beating two men and whipping a great ball into the box the ball was then touched in by Tanner getting his second goal of the season. Crook continued to press forward and it wasn't long before it was two. Alfie gathered the ball and drove towards goal, after dancing around his opposition he placed the ball into the top corner. Crook looked solid in defense as George, Matthew and Lucas stopped any attacks meaning Jo in goal had very little to do.

Crook continued to push forward in the second half but could not extend their lead. Alfie hit the post, Charlie had a few shots saved and Robbie saw his effort at goal saved too.

The boys were delighted to get their first win and are hoping to build on that performance in the Summer league which will begin after the Easter holidays.

Thank you to all the parents for supporting throughout the season.
