Happy Halloween!

Published on Friday 25 October 2019 by Mrs Fox.

We have loved getting into the Halloween spirit this week and had so much fun exploring pumpkins, making a rhyming witches brew and doing lots of counting when making magic potions!

Happy Halloween! Happy Halloween!

We also had so much fun at our Halloween party. We played musical statues, musical bumps and had a dancing competition. The morning winners of our fancy dress competition were: in first place Jak, second place Amelia and in third place Neve. The afternoon winners of our fancy dress competition were; in first place Leona, second place Mason and in third place Luke. It was so hard to choose a winner as everybody looked fantastic!

Happy Halloween! Happy Halloween!

Our little rays of sunshine this week are Grace Piper for recognising that her name starts with the 'g' sound. She did a fantastic job placing the spiders to form this sound and then had a go writing it all by herself. Well done Grace! Lachlan Connor for trying very hard when making our rhyming witches brew. He is starting to recognise rhyming words and when given two options Lachlan chose the correct rhyming pairs. Fantastic rhyming Lachlan! Freddie Breward for enjoying making our witches brew and joining in with the rhyme. Great work Freddie! And finally Oscar Fullerton for having a great week joining in with all of our activities. He tried very hard to find objects that rhymed to put in our witches' brew. A fantastic week Oscar keep it up!

Happy Halloween!

We hope you all have a lovely Autumn half term and we will see you when we return to nursery on the 4th of November!
