- About Us
Hello Year 3,
We can't believe how quickly the summer holidays have arrived! Here are the last week's home learning resources. This week we will be looking at The Ickabog Chapter 9, mass and capacity, in maths and looking ahead to year 4, international tiger day, Harry Potter's birthday and a tornado in a jar for afternoon tasks. And as always, we have also provided mindfulness, handwriting, PSHE, reading and spelling tasks. All activities are explained in the timetable but please do let us know if you have any questions or need any support with the activities.
Thank you to those who have completed the parent reports already, could I give a further reminder to you to complete these and email them to the year 3 email address if you have not already done so. They are a great insight into how your child has been through this strange time and very useful for their upcoming teacher.
We would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a lovely summer holiday and thank you for your continued support in what has been the most difficult year. You have all been amazing and coped with the changes amazingly. Thank you to those who have sent in examples of what you have been getting up to, they have certainly kept us sane! Let us all hope and cross fingers that this is something we never have to go through again! I am certainly looking forward to seeing you all in September.
I would also like to take this opportunity to wish Miss Adlington luck as she prepares to have her little girl and starts her maternity leave. She is an amazing teacher and colleague and I will certainly miss her, although we look forward to introducing a new teacher; Miss Dobinson, to the year 3 team next year.
Good luck Miss Adlington!
Hope you are all well, stay safe and have a lovely summer,
