Our first full week in Nursery

Published on Friday 11 September 2020 by Miss Dickinson.

Wow, what a week it has been! We are all so pleased at how the children have settled this week and how amazing they have been in nursery. It is lovely to see so many children with happy, smiley faces coming into nursery. This week we have continued to explore the nursery environment and learn about the rules and routines in nursery. We have also enjoyed making new friends and getting to know our teachers.

Thank you all for being so patient and understanding about our new routines in nursery and following the social distancing rules of the one way system in the nursery garden, long may this continue. From next week we are going back to our normal times of nursery start and pick up as we feel we are ready to establish our proper routines. Miss Manifold and Miss Gill's morning group session will start at 08.45am and finish at 11.45am and afternoon sessions will start at 12.30pm and finish at 3.30pm. Mrs Blackett's group will begin at 9.00am and finish at 3.00pm Please ensure you are here on time to drop off and pick up your children as we are going to begin group sessions therefore late children may interrupt the session or miss out on our lovely activities.

Our little rays of sunshine this week are Hallie Green for coming into nursery with the biggest smile and settling straight back into nursery life, she is such a good role model. Constance Hanmer for settling into nursery and always coming in full of energy ready to start the afternoon. Joey Zalick for settling so well into nursery life and always coming in smiling. Mason Griffiths for showing a huge improvement when coming into nursery and his confidence has grown so much and finally Toby Wallace for settling so well this week, exploring the nursery environment and making new friends. Well done to you all, what superstars!
