The launch of Remote Learning...

Published on Friday 8 January 2021 by Mrs Fox.

This week has seen the launch of our remote learning from home. Both myself and Miss Roberts have been blown away by everybody's hard work and would just like to say a huge thank you to parents for ensuring the children join the live sessions. Thank you for being patient with us as we have all learnt to get to grips with Google Classroom. I hope you all agree that we are starting to get into a good routine and the children seem to be enjoying accessing the live lessons. We are both very proud of you all for engaging and handing in your work, please keep up the hard work!

If you have any issues regarding Google Classroom or are having trouble accessing it please do email us at earlyyears@crookprimaryschool.org.uk Also we welcome any feedback about our live sessions. If something is not working please do let us know, if we are unaware of the problem we cannot fix it. We are still getting to grips with Google Classroom too so we need as much feedback as possible to make the lessons run as smoothly as we can for you all.

We would also like to say a huge well done to the children that are working so hard at school. They have adjusted to the new routines and nothing has seemed to phase them. Although we may be learning in different places all of the children have been accessing the same activities and seem to have really enjoyed kick starting our new topic; Space. We began learning about Space by introducing the story Whatever Next. The children did a fantastic job acting out the story with their own props, some of you even had your own picnic on the moon! We have also introduced 2D shapes, by going on shape hunts and making some fantastic space pictures. Keep checking the website each week as we will be showcasing the children's fantastic work, whether this has been done at home or at school!
