This week we have been learning facts all about different minibeasts and have been on a minibeast hunt in the garden.

We have also continued with our new sound this week which was 'n'. The children had to recognise the sound, find the sound, write the sound and even find objects that begin with the n sound.

Our number of the week this week is number 5. The children love to be number detectives finding the number 5 in and outside Nursery and also trying to collect 5 objects. These children amaze us each week with their love for learning!

Our little rays of sunshine this week are Olivia Bell as she was amazing at naming and recalling facts about minibeasts and their habitats. “Bees make honey for us, fly in the air and buzzzzzzz. Ladybirds have spots on their backs and crawl on trees”. Olly McHugh for trying very hard when learning about new topic minibeasts. Caiden Newton for trying very hard to remember lots of facts about minibeasts. Connie Hanmer as she had a fantastic time on our bug hunt. She found lots of minibeasts and carefully ticked them off her list. At the end of the session she found a butterfly and tole me “I can finally tick a butterfly now”. Finally, Evie Cleary as she has carried out some fantastic sound work this week. She wrote some of our sounds which we have previously learnt and also tried to write our new sound. Evie also found our new sound 'n' in nursery provision. Well done to you all, what superstars!
