- About Us
This week we have been learning all about the season Autumn. We set you all the little challenge last weekend to go and collect lots of Autumn treasures in your bags and what a great response we had back, thank you! We took time this week to look in all of our bags and talk about what we found and what objects may represent Autumn.
In maths we have been comparing the number of objects and deciding which has more and which has less and trying to use this vocabulary. We also discussed the similarities and differences in our Autumn bags and talked about what we found the most of and what we found the least of. We decided to choose a few objects from our bags and represent them in different ways.
This week's little rays of sunshine are Harlee-Rae Nicholls as she has been a superstar this week. She has left mum happily on a morning and is becoming more familiar with following our routines in Nursery. She did an amazing job of representing some of the items from her Autumn bag. Lewis Johnson as he did a great job figuring out which had the most and which had the least and even used the correct language. Millie Winter as she has tried very hard to count the amount of conkers in the group and could correctly identify which group had more and less. Paisley Graham as she did an amazing job at representing some of our Autumn items that we collected. She ensured she did the correct number of lines for each object. Finally, Fearne Scott as she did a great job representing numbers using her fingers. Well done to you all, what superstars!
