- About Us
This week we have continued to focus on people who help us in the community. We learnt all about a dentist, doctor/nurse, paramedic and lifeguard. The children are enjoying learning all about different occupations.
What a lovely week it has been for the weather so we made the most of it and took all of our learning outdoors. It isn't often we get such lovely weather!
We have also learnt all about the number 5. We learnt how to recognise 5, show 5 fingers, count 5 objects and represent 5 in different ways.
Today we enjoyed Hoopstarz on the school field. What fun we had and the lady said how well behaved we all were. We were very proud of all of the children for having a go!
Our little rays of sunshine this week are Hunter Howe as he did very well when we completed our people who help us quiz. Fearne Scott as she independently cut out the groups of flowers. She then was able to match the numeral to the correct amount of flowers. Lucas French for joining in our group time activities so well. Archie Clarey as he did a fantastic job of counting the group one to twelve. He then counted along the number line to find the number twelve. Finally, Carter Howe as he did fantastic number work when learning all about the number 5. “If you take two off there will be three, if you take one off there will be four and if you take all off but one there will be one”. Amazing job this week everyone, what superstars!
Just a reminder we have a report writing training day tomorrow so Nursery is closed. See you all on Monday!
