The children enjoyed wearing their chosen outfits and spent the day expressing themselves freely with lots of conversation, playing and learning alongside one another and taking turns to share their opinions, likes and dislikes.
We also celebrated Safer Internet Day in school and discussed the important ways that we could maintain safety whilst having fun on the internet. We talked about not sharing private information and if we came across anything that made us feel uncomfortable, we discussed who our trusted adults were to seek out for help.
We had a special visit from Crook Primary's E-Cadets who shared a fun PowerPoint with us about how to maintain safety on the internet. It was so lovely to have such wonderful role models in the classroom and the children were in awe, engaged in their learning and participated fully.
We then got the laptops out to enjoy playing the game Interland. Interland is an online adventure that teaches the key lessons of internet safety through four fun and challenging games.
