This week has been our final week of people who help us so we have been finding out about what the children have learnt from our topic. We have had a quiz to see if we can match the jobs to the correct professions and also had discussions about what we would like to be when we grow up.
We have also enjoyed some pancakes in nursery this week on pancake day! The children chose which toppings they wanted on their pancake then enjoyed eating them while having a story….. what a treat!
We have also been practising our name writing.
Morning children also visited the library and had a story from the librarian before choosing a book for them to bring back to nursery to enjoy at story time. The children were so well behaved and walked beautifully to and from the library. Well done!
Our little rays of sunshine this week are Noah Hutchinson as he walked so well to the library, holding his partners hand. When at the library he was determined to find a dinosaur book and managed to do this. Noah has also been doing a great job of tidying up nursery. Sheldon as he listened so well to our story at the library. Nova Richards as she has settled so well into nursery life and was a superstar when visiting the library. She knew exactly which book she wanted to bring back to nursery. George Gibbon as he impressed me when we talked about what we wanted to be when we grow up. George told me he wanted to be an ice cream man who makes ice cream because it would be fun. Talia-Faith Harrison for trying to write her name. Finally, Ethel Ross as she did a great job when playing the people who help us quiz. She knew that if you were lost the police will try to help you.
Just a little reminder we break up for half term today and return on Monday 26th February. We hope you all have a lovely half term break!
