Performing in Stratford-Upon-Avon

On Monday, 2 of our Year 6 children travelled down to Stratford-Upon-Avon for the RSC's National Playmaking Festival. Monday was a very busy day. We had the opportunity to rehearse our section of Hamlet on the Swan Theatre's stage, where we would be performing on Tuesday. After we had checked into our hotel, we walked around Stratford to look at some of the fantastic sights, including William Shakespeare's home!

Day 2 on Tuesday was a chance for a final dress rehearsal. This went well and was a great opportunity to make any final changes. The children performed at 3pm on Tuesday in the Swan Theatre and it was our best performance yet. Our confidence and emerald power has grown so much throughout this process and the experience has definitely been one to remember! Miss Macieira and Miss Golightly are incredibly proud of both Harriet and Emily's performance and we cannot wait to do it again in the future!
