Our learning this week developed our historical knowledge, finding out about why we see poppies near Remembrance Day and talking about some of our own family history stories.
The children were very respectful during our 2 minute silence and then worked as a unit to produce a class poppy wreath. They also thoroughly enjoyed exploring the armed forces artefacts.
In Literacy we continued our learning of phonemes u and r and reinforced our learning of tricky words 'is' and 'I'.Our mathematics learning also continued to support knowledge of recognising number bonds to make 5.
We look forward to welcoming the children in the morning dressed all cosy for Children in Need. Next Thursday we will have our local visit to the library to enjoy. Any questions, please don't hesitate to get in touch with a member of the team.
