Smell, Touch, Taste, See, Hear!

In Science we have been discovering our senses and really putting them to the test! In Miss Macieira's classroom, we were given the task to identify different objects whilst blind folded! This meant we had to trust our sense of touch to identify each object! Some of them were very confusing, like the coconut! We were then tasked with identifying different smells that were within smell pots! We could not see the object but were given a list of possible items such as vinegar, coffee, ketchup, hot chocolate powder, onions and soap! Some were definitely nicer to smell than others!

In Miss Lywood's room we tested our sense of sight by playing a tricky game of i-spy where we had to count the number of fairy tale characters we could see! We then used our sense of hearing to try and identify sounds we had listened to in a sound box such as, running water, a horn and keys.

In Miss Dodd's room we were VERY pleased to be testing our sense of taste! We were given food to taste that was either, sweet, salty, sour or bitter! It is safe to say not many of us were able to keep a straight face when eating a lemon!
