A very muddy mayhem and tag rugby

It has been an exciting few weeks in Year 5. We have had our annual Muddy Mayhem, where our children got stuck in and jumped into the mud pit and got soaked by the firefighters from Crook Station. Despite the terrible weather, it was great seeing our children having so much fun.

Year 5 have had the first opportunity to experience a sports festival when we attended Parkside School for the Tag Rugby Festival. Our children were very excited as it was the first time that they had had the opportunity to attend a sporting event since Covid. The children were amazing and showed great effort and resilience. The children came away with great big smiles on their faces and commented how much fun that they had had.
