As the temperatures soared at the start of week, we were very excited to visit our new classes. The children from Nursery and Reception really impressed staff with their fabulous listening skills and hard working attitudes!

As the week developed, we continued to learn about life under the sea, exploring poetry performance and rhyme within, 'Commotion in the Ocean'. We produced some wonderful wax resistant sea life paintings. We also demonstrated lots of wonderful knowledge reading and writing words and captions about sea life. In mathematics we shared our knowledge of measurement comparing weights and capacities.

Let's hope the sunshine returns, as we look forward to welcoming you into school next Wednesday 9th July at 1.30pm for our end of year celebration and Sports Day. Children may come into school in PE kit for the event.
We will also take part in our final house team challenge, end of year quiz on Friday 11th July. Children may also wear their house team colours that day!
